Terms of Service
Draft for legal review. Last updated October 17, 2026. Not yet in effect.
These terms govern your use of JobPulse, a workspace service for small service businesses, operated by [ROCK INPUT NEEDED: legal entity name and address] ("JobPulse", "we"). By creating an account or using JobPulse you agree to them.
1. Accounts and workspaces
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. The person who creates a business workspace is its owner and is responsible for everyone the owner invites (managers, workers, customers). Keep your sign-in secure; JobPulse requires two-step verification. You are responsible for activity under your account.
2. Plans, trial and billing
Paid plans are Crew (up to 3 users) and Team (up to 10 users, includes the manager role), billed monthly or annually in US dollars through Stripe. Users are the owner, managers and workers; customers you invite do not count. New subscriptions begin with a 7-day free trial that requires a payment card. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged and the subscription renews automatically each period at the then-current price until you cancel. We will give at least 30 days' notice of a price change for existing subscribers, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
You can change plan, update your card or cancel at any time under Subscription & payments (Manage subscription). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. See the Refund Policy.
3. If a subscription ends or a payment fails
If a payment fails, Stripe retries the card for a limited time. While a payment is overdue, or after a subscription ends, your workspace becomes view and export only: you can read your records and download your business data, but you cannot add or change records. Updating your card or choosing a plan restores full access. Your records are kept for at least 90 days after a subscription ends so you can export or resubscribe, after which we may delete them after notice to the owner's email.
4. Your data
You own the business data you put into JobPulse. You give us permission to host, process and display it to provide the service, including showing job details, photos and messages to the people you invite. You are responsible for having the right to upload it and for the accuracy of estimates, invoices and records. You can export your data and request removal of your business or account in the app. See the Privacy Policy.
5. Customer payments
JobPulse can connect your own Stripe account so your customers can pay deposits and invoices. Those payments are between you and your customer. JobPulse is not a party to them, does not hold your funds, and is not responsible for your pricing, taxes, refunds or disputes. Stripe's terms apply to the connected account, and you must complete Stripe's onboarding to accept payments.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use JobPulse to break the law, send spam, upload harmful or infringing content, probe or disrupt the service, access another business's data, or resell the service without our written permission. We may suspend accounts that put the service or other users at risk.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep JobPulse available but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change or retire features; if we remove a paid feature in a way that materially reduces what you paid for, you may cancel and ask for a prorated refund of the unused period.
8. Disclaimers and limits
JobPulse is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. JobPulse is a record-keeping and scheduling tool and does not provide legal, tax or accounting advice. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for JobPulse in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits or lost data beyond that amount. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Ending these terms
You may stop using JobPulse and cancel at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical. Sections that by nature should survive (data, payments owed, disclaimers, limits, governing law) survive termination.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of [ROCK INPUT NEEDED: state], without regard to conflict rules. Questions: [ROCK INPUT NEEDED: support email].
